The second Sino-French Round Table

The second Sino-French Round Table, sponsored by the Chinese People's
Institute of Foreign Affairs and the Sino-French Committee, opened in
Chengdu on the morning of January 24. High ranking French officials, such
as the French ambassador to China, Gaoyi, as well as representatives from
multinationals like Air France and Veolia, from eleven cities including
Paris, Strasbourg, Montpelier, Nice, and Bordeaux attended the
conference. The Chinese officials came from twelve cities, including
Chongqin, Qingdao and Wuhan. The two parties discussed and exchanged
their experience on issues of urban development and management.
