Unmarketable tiger head shoes

(Jan. 20, 2005) In an open market in Shandong province's Tancheng, hardly
anyone checked out the stalls selling tiger head shoes (shoes in the
shape of a tiger head). There were over 10 stalls selling traditional
handmade embroidery tiger head shoes in this market. These shoes are
uniquely made to resemble a smiling tiger face and were once one of the
best selling goods. But now they are out of favor as the weather gets
warmer.
