Han Ping, Representative to the National People's Congress and Director
of the Bank of China's banking management department, said on Tuesday
that a network linking various banking organizations in China to share
information on consumer credit would be realized by year's end. A
"blacklist" will be developed and will include the names of people who
should not be given credit. Such a "blacklist" would only be used within
banking information system and not be available to the public.
